Well, It is Techno turkey day. Techno turkey day is the new holiday where the designated family member must make sure they have a open wireless signal so that the whole family can crowd into a room or two as they all stare intensely at laptop screens and cells phones, sending messages to each other so that they don`t have to turn there heads, only proving that in this day and age we are all emotional and physically detached from the world. afraid to interact with one another face to face. But on the plus side, The sound of twenty voices bickering and arguing is replaced by the clicking of keyboards and chimes of instant messages. only to stop long enough to shove a fork full of food in there mouths.
As I sat there observing all of my family members, I snickered to my self. It IS a shame we are all so attached to our computer and the internet but I can say, it was the first family get together where the loud drunk uncle, the whining sister, and the constantly complaining aunt, all remained in the same room for hours with out make fools of themselves or upsetting me.

The age technology is still young
As I set here and think, What happened, when I was a child I was active and ran non-stop till I heard the voice of my mother or father yelling "It`s time to eat!".I was always told to set still and stop messing around. Now my children are alway closed up in one room or another, play the game system, typing away on the computer far faster then I ever could. And lets not forget the cell phones. Its got to the point, as parents, The only way we can even communicate with our children is to learn TXT Lingo and make sure there batteries are fully charged. So I would like to dedicate this blog to technology and how we as parents can not lose connection with our children "at the click of a button!"
